The City of Ann Arbor offers many public transportation resources including free bicycle rentals, multiple bus and van services including Megabus and Greyhound, an Amtrak train station within walking distance of Downtown, and two local airports. The state’s major airport, Detroit Metropolitan is only 25 miles east of Ann Arbor and services such as AirRide allow for a quick commute from Ann Arbor. Downtown Ann Arbor is great for those looking to be able to walk from store to store or restaurant to restaurant. Major highways I-94, US-23, M-14 surround the city, making it easy to commute to virtually any area nearby.
