Here at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Snyder and Company, we’re more than just Realtors. Each month we like to take a moment to shine a light on one of our magnificent real estate agents. This month’s agent spotlight is Suzanne Warling!

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in West Bloomfield Michigan with my Mother and Father, older brother and younger sister. I attended school at both Our Lady of Mercy and West Bloomfield High School.
What do you enjoy the most about living in the Greater Ann Arbor area?
What I like about living in the Ann Arbor area is the number of really engaged, smart, and motivated people I encounter on a daily basis. This is a community that sets and achieves their goals through good education, ingenuity and hard work.
Tell us a bit about yourself and family.
I have been married to Neal Warling for 26 years and we have 5 children in total. Our youngest is 14 and is beginning his freshman year at Skyline High School. Our older children are off pursuing their educations and careers as well as building their families.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
When I’m lucky enough to have some truly free time I enjoy spending it with my family or getting out with friends. I have a goal to learn some new skills this year, Sake making being at the top of the list.
How long have you been a real estate agent?
I began in Real Estate is the mid 1980’s and worked selling new construction in West Bloomfield. I left to raise my family and returned to work in the Ann Arbor area in 2013.
What do you like best about working in real estate?
My favorite part of working in real estate is the way that every transaction is unique, requiring me to view the process through a slightly different lens with each new client.
Describe your favorite memory of working with a client.
My favorite memory of working with a client has to be when I was helping my buyer find a home in Northville. She was going through a divorce and was very excited to get out on her own, so much so that she really needed good sound advice not to jump into the first thing that she saw. After 2 years we ultimately found just the right home at just the right prices with all her wants and needs.
What is the one tip you have for someone looking to buy or sell a home today?
My advice to someone buying a home today is to keep at it! The right home will become available they just need to stay in the home search.
