Today is National Coffee Day and we couldn’t help but be overwhelmed with all of the awesome coffee shops in Ann Arbor to celebrate at. We’ve narrowed it down to six places, let us know where you’re going in the comments section below.
1. The Espresso Bar
Located above Literati Bookstore, The Espresso Bar is a nice, quiet, loft-style coffee shop with amazing coffees available and a nice elevated view of downtown to enjoy.
2. Common Cup Coffee
Another Ann Arbor coffee shop located in a unique space, the Common Cup Coffeehouse is located in the lower level of University Lutheran Chapel. Looking for a quiet space to study with lots of room on #nationalcoffeeday? The Common Cup is just for you.
3. Black Diesel Coffee

Black Diesel Coffee opened in Ann Arbor last year and is a delicious place to try for National Coffee Day if you haven’t been there yet. Offering pour-overs, Chemex, French Press and more, we’re sure you’ll find something to enjoy.
4. Mighty Good Coffee

Mighty Good Coffee was founded on the principle “good coffee satisfies the soul and the senses.” Speaking from experience, their coffee accomplishes just that.
5. Espresso Royale
With cafes located across the midwest, Espresso Royale has been serving happy Ann Arbor customers since 1987 when they opened their first location.
6. RoosRoast Coffee

RoosRoast Coffee is a local coffee roaster with a wide variety of drinks (and beans) to choose from. We recommend hitting their downtown location for a delicious nitro tap brew.
