Dexter Cider Mill

The Dexter Cider Mill has been family-owned and operated since 1886. They are the oldest continuously operating cider mill in the State of Michigan.

The Dexter Cider Mill is an active working mill and the owners are passionate about preserving its history, including using their authentic oak press to create cider. The whole experience will take you back in time! You will find freshly baked delicious doughnuts, wood pressed cider, caramel apples, and apple nut bread in their shop. On the weekends they have homemade pies and many more treats.

Wiard’s Country Store offers cider, donuts, and more. They also run a “Country Fair” which is a paid-admission section of the property that offers daytime (less scary) haunted tractor rides, firetruck rides, inflatables and obstacle courses, a paintball shooting range, apple canon, u-pick apples, petting farm, not-so-haunted house, and plenty of unique play structures for the little ones!

Parmenter’s Cider Mill

714 Base Line Rd, Northville, MI 48167 –

Located within the historic homes district of Cabbage Town in Northville, Michigan, Parmenter’s offers fresh donuts, apple cider, cider slush, apple pie, apple butter, pumpkin butter, donut chips, caramel apples, fresh fudge, cinnamon roasted almonds, Michigan jams, honey, maple syrup, and you can find fresh Hard Cider & Beer at Northville Winery and Brewing across the lot.

Wasem Fruit Farm

6580 Judd Rd, Milan, MI 48160 –

Wasem Fruit Farm is a family-owned orchard in Milan, south of Ypsilanti. They offer pick-your-own apples, pumpkins, and tart cherries, homemade unpasteurized cider, and delicious fresh donuts made daily. You can find their other produce including red and black currants, gooseberries, plums, pears, and fall raspberries at the Ann Arbor Farmers’ Market.

Spicer Orchards

10411 Clyde Rd, Fenton, MI 48430 –

The Spicer family has been growing fruit in southeastern Michigan for five generations. They offer wagon rides, train rides, a corn maze, pick-your-own apples, raspberries, and pumpkins, as well as other fair-type rides and goodies.

Kapnick Orchards

4245 N, Rogers Hwy, Britton, MI 49229 –

Kapnick Orchards offer u-pick apples and pumpkins, enchanted wagon rides through the forest, their own product line of fruits, vegetables, homemade fudge, and apple butter. They also carry jams, candies, and nuts. They press their own unpasteurized cider, which gives it a unique and fantastic flavor, but they also offer a version of their cider treated with UV light as an alternative to pasteurization.

Erie Orchards & Cider Mill

Erie Orchard offers freshly baked donuts, apple cider, a country store, farm animals, u-pick apples, and a country fair setting.

Erwin Orchards – Now “Blake’s Lyon Township”

61475 Silver Lake Rd, South Lyon, MI 48178 –

Erwin Orchards Inc., now Blake’s Lyon Township, is a 100+ year old third-generation family farm located in South Lyon. James N. Erwin planted his first tree in 1920, and they’ve been winning awards for their apple cider ever since! They offer pick your own apples, sweet cherries, raspberries, pumpkins, asparagus, and Saskatoon berries. You can also treat yourself to their donuts and other goodies.

Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill

17985 Armada Center Rd, Armada, MI 48005 –

Blake’s is one of the largest orchard complexes in the area and offers hard cider, regular cider, a children’s fun-land including a haunted house, petting farm, playscapes, corn maze, tractor rides, and much more. This 800-acre working farm offers fun for both kids and adults with plenty of outdoor seating, tasting room, and regular craft fairs. A visit here is well worth the drive!

Yate’s Cider Mill

With a history that dates back to 1863, Yates Mill offers cider, donuts, and plenty of baked goods in an historic setting.

Franklin Cider Mill

7450 Franklin Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301 –

The Franklin Cider Mill is a one-of-a-kind living piece of history. Located in Bloomfield Hills, this cider mill offers all sorts of treats in an historic setting right next to the Rouge River. 

Paint Creek Cider Mill

4480 Orion Rd, Rochester, MI 48306 –

The Paint Creek Cider Mill in Rochester is open seven days a week. Featuring a menu of cold and hot cider, delicious meals, healthy snacks, and delectable treats including homemade soups, sandwiches, desserts, ice cream, and more. You can pull up a chair inside, sit outside on the porch, or stroll along the scenic Paint Creek Trail with your family and friends. Whether you are looking for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, an ice cream cone on a hot summer night, or a hot cider for an autumn walk you can find it here!

Bennett’s Orchard

5647 Consear Rd, Ottawa Lake, MI 49267 –

Bennett’s Orchard offers both hard and regular cider, as well as plenty of other goodies. Their country store sells their very own fresh honey and farm fresh eggs as well as a variety of jams, jellies, and treats. All of their hard ciders are handcrafted at their orchard, and they only press apples that they grow. Spend an afternoon taste-testing their ciders and enjoying their fresh market!
