You won’t have any trouble finding St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with green beer around Ann Arbor this weekend! 1. Virtual- Blarney Stone 5k/8k/10k/Half Marathon

The Blarney Stone can be run from anywhere. You can run ’round the neighborhood with friends or you can run on your treadmill! Not near a St. Patty’s race? Don’t want to join because of parking hassles or too many drunken revelries? You can be a Virtual Blarney Stone runner! This race is running parallel to a physical race. Each finisher will receive a long sleeve t-shirt, medal, age group awards for those who qualify. Proceeds will help the Mid Michigan Cat Rescue.
2. Kerrytown Leprechaun Parade

Leprechaun Mask Making Merriment starts at 10am, where you can make a mask for the parade! Materials and snacks will be provided. Meet in the hallway on the second floor near the Kerrytown Chime. The Leprechaun Parade begins at 11am. Wear your masks and join the parade! The route will take you through Kerrytown Market and Shops, the Farmers Market and along streets nearby. Don’t forget to wear green!
3. St. Patrick’s Day Celebration!

4. St. Patrick’s Day Party & Leprechaun Hunt

This is an organized scavenger hunt where participants, on horse or by foot, receive their Leprechaun base at check-in, then follow the different trails for the 5 remaining checkpoints to collect all the components to craft their leprechaun when they end at Heavenly Horse Stables! Equestrians, hikers, and runners from all over are invited to participate in this event for some outdoor fun! There will be food for all participants, with the option to purchase food for additional attendees. The Leprechaun Hunt is a relaxed, fun event where you can take as long as you want to hang out with friends, enjoy the trails, and have some good food.
5. St. Patrick’s Dinner Benefit

Every year the Aerie and Auxiliary presidents choose a charity that the proceeds from the dinner will go to. This year all proceeds will go Great Day To Be Alive, a local charity fighting against cancer. Dinner includes either corned beef and cabbage or Shepard’s pie and sides and dessert.
6. Magic! Songs & Stories of Ireland & Scotland

Celtic harper and singer, Carol Kappus, presents her yearly St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza with songs and stories from Ireland & Scotland played on Celtic harps with many other talented friends joining in. This year Carol debuts her spectacular new electric harp! Carol will be joined by several other harpers, singers, dancers, and some classical musicians.
7. St. Patrick’s Day Border To Border Trail Walk

Meet at the Parker Mill County Park Information Pavilion, 4650 Geddes Road for a 45-minute walk, looking for green sprouts, on a section of the new Matthaei Botanical Gardens Trail. Walk canceled if raining, or winter storm advisory/warning at walk start time. Sponsored by the Friends of the Border To Border Trail.
8. Irish Airs: A Carillon Concert
