I was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland and moved to Ann Arbor in May 2006. After my first visit to Ann Arbor in 2004, I was not only convinced that it was a city I wanted to live in, but that it was a city of diverse culture and unique character. I began my life in Ann Arbor in 2006 at the YMCA, where I am still an active participant and volunteer for some of the youth sports leagues and annual fundraising campaign.
