Service to community runs through Karen's life. A cancer survivor, she has volunteered with the American Cancer Society and helped launch the booster club at Skyline High School. Today she volunteers with the Ann Arbor Thrift Shop and supports multiple philanthropic causes. She also participates in Global Gourmet through the University of Michigan Faculty Women's Club.
Karen holds a BS in Business from UNC Chapel Hill. She loves to travel and read, enjoys scuba diving and skiing, plays bridge, follows hockey, and enjoys golf.
